About Andromeda
Aileen 'Andromeda' MacInnes is a 19-year-old singer-songwriter and bassist from Essex. When she started writing music in high school, she was mostly writing acoustic, emotional and downtempo music - just her and her guitar. In more recent years, she has branched into electrical music and has become more and more of an avid producer.
Andromeda began sharing her music on social media in early 2022 and picked up quite an impressive following which lead to her being signed by Beggar's group in March 2023 after her EP 'my strange addiction' went viral on Tiktok.
Andromeda has been, all through her teen years, a passionate activist using social media and her music to advocate strongly for feminism, anti-racism, LGBTQ+ rights and an array of other social injustices. Much of her music is very vocal about tackling these issues and in her first album as a signed artist it's clear what she stands for.
Andromeda is embarking on her first UK tour this August following the release of her debut album 'Electric Woman'.
